Growing with my family
We are a family of four, learning as we go to sow and grow together. We started our allotment journey 4 years ago and have completely reworked the plot. During the years we have added our recycled greenhouse, made from old Victorian windows and modern decking leftovers. We built coldframes from scratch, bricks and more windows. A pea wigwam, a large pergola, 3 metre long table upcycled from old pallets, a pond and even a brick pathways were added. Its a work in progress, as they say. But its such an enriching environment to experiment, play and enjoy being outdoors together. Having said that, it's also a haven for me to have some time alone, to just take some time out from being mum, teacher and designer. A place I can truly switch off.
